The movie stars Kate as a former hotshot prosecutor who became an addict and lost her career in the process. In an effort to regain her career, and to win back custody of her daughter, she takes on the appeal of a woman wrongfully convicted of murder. The film also stars Nick Nolte and James Cromwell and is being directed by Karen Moncrieff, from her own script. |
